By accessing our website, submitting an inquiry, making a payment or booking or participating in an Aura Bend service, you agree to these Terms and Conditions, our Privacy Policy, Refund and Cancellation Policy, and any service-specific intake forms, informed-consent documents, waivers or agreements provided to you.

If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website or book an Aura Bend experience.

2. Wellness Services Are Not Medical Care

Aura Bend offers wellness, educational, hospitality and personal-care experiences. Unless expressly stated otherwise and provided by a properly licensed professional acting within that license, our services are not medical care, psychotherapy, mental-health treatment, physical therapy, nutritional therapy or emergency care.

Aura Bend practitioners do not diagnose, prescribe, cure or treat medical or mental-health conditions through general wellness services.

Hypnotherapy, meditation, breathwork, herbal education, Human Design, yoga and botanical experiences are not substitutes for care from a physician, mental-health professional, registered dietitian or other qualified healthcare provider.

You are responsible for seeking appropriate professional care regarding any medical condition, mental-health concern, pregnancy, injury, allergy or medication question.

3. Emergencies

Aura Bend is not an emergency service.

Do not use our website, email, booking platform or text messages to communicate an urgent medical or mental-health emergency.

Call 911 or contact an appropriate emergency service when immediate assistance is needed.

4. Eligibility and Age Requirements

You must be at least 18 years old to independently book an Aura Bend service.

Services for a minor require advance approval and the consent of a parent or legal guardian. A parent or guardian may be required to remain present throughout the service.

Certain services, locations, activities or botanical experiences may have additional age requirements.

Psilocybin services are available only to adults who meet all requirements imposed by Oregon law and the participating licensed service center.

5. Bookings and Confirmation

Submitting an inquiry or requesting a date does not guarantee availability.

A booking is confirmed only after Aura Bend has:

  • Accepted the service request

  • Received any required forms or information

  • Received the required deposit or full payment

  • Provided written confirmation

For custom retreats and group experiences, the final written proposal or booking confirmation will identify the services, schedule, location, number of guests, pricing and included items.

When a written proposal conflicts with a general website description, the accepted proposal controls.

6. Pricing and Payment

Prices are stated in United States dollars.

Prices displayed on the website may be starting prices and may change based on:

  • Number of guests

  • Service duration

  • Number of practitioners

  • Travel distance

  • Location access

  • Food and beverage selections

  • Flowers, materials or equipment

  • Transportation

  • Permits

  • Independent guides or vendors

  • Seasonal availability

  • Custom requests

Applicable taxes, gratuities, travel charges and third-party expenses may be added when disclosed before booking.

Aura Bend may require full payment or a nonrefundable or partially refundable deposit to reserve a date. The amount and payment schedule will be stated during booking.

Failure to make a required payment by its due date may result in release of the reservation.

7. Cancellations, Rescheduling and Refunds

Cancellations, rescheduling requests, late arrivals, missed appointments and refunds are governed by Aura Bend’s Refund and Cancellation Policy and any terms included in your booking confirmation.

Some payments may be nonrefundable because Aura Bend reserves practitioner time, purchases food or materials, engages outside providers or declines other bookings in reliance on your reservation.

Requests to change a booking must be made in writing.

Changes involving the date, location, guest count, service duration or requested offerings may result in additional charges and are subject to availability.

8. Late Arrival

Your service is reserved for a specific period.

When a guest arrives late or is not ready at the scheduled time, Aura Bend may shorten the experience so that it still ends at the agreed time. The full scheduled price will remain due.

When Aura Bend causes a material delay, we will make reasonable efforts to extend, reschedule or appropriately adjust the service.

9. Client Health and Safety Information

You agree to provide complete and accurate information that may affect the safety or appropriateness of a service.

This may include:

  • Pregnancy or postpartum status

  • Injuries or recent surgeries

  • Allergies and sensitivities

  • Mobility limitations

  • Cardiovascular, neurological or respiratory concerns

  • Communicable illness

  • Medications

  • Mental-health concerns relevant to the requested service

  • Recent alcohol or substance use

  • Other information requested through an intake or consent form

You must update Aura Bend if relevant information changes before your appointment.

A practitioner may modify, postpone or decline a service when they reasonably believe it may be unsafe, inappropriate or outside their training or professional scope.

Failure to disclose relevant information may result in cancellation of the service without a refund.

10. Massage and Bodywork

Massage and regulated bodywork are provided only by appropriately licensed practitioners.

Before beginning, the practitioner may discuss:

  • Your goals and preferences

  • Areas to address or avoid

  • Pressure preferences

  • Positioning and draping

  • Relevant health considerations

  • The general nature of the proposed session

Participation is voluntary. You may ask questions, request a change, decline a technique or end the session at any time.

Professional draping and boundaries will be maintained. Sexual behavior, sexual requests, harassment, threatening conduct or inappropriate exposure will result in immediate termination of the session. No refund will be provided in those circumstances, and future services may be refused.

11. Yoga, Stretching, Breathwork and Movement

Movement and breathing practices involve physical activity and may not be appropriate for every person.

You agree to:

  • Work within your own abilities

  • Stop when experiencing pain, dizziness, numbness, shortness of breath or distress

  • Follow safety instructions

  • Inform the practitioner about limitations or concerns

  • Decline any movement or practice that does not feel appropriate

Aura Bend may modify or discontinue a practice when necessary for safety.

12. Hypnotherapy, Meditation and Human Design

Results from hypnotherapy, meditation, coaching-style conversations and Human Design sessions vary. Aura Bend does not promise a particular emotional, behavioral, financial, relational or health outcome.

You remain conscious, responsible for your choices and free to end a session.

These services are not psychotherapy, psychiatric treatment, medical treatment or crisis intervention unless a practitioner separately holds an applicable professional license and expressly agrees in writing to provide services under that license.

Human Design is offered as a reflective and educational framework. It should not be treated as medical, legal, financial or psychological advice.

13. Pregnancy, Doula and Postpartum Services

Aura Bend’s doula and postpartum offerings provide nonmedical emotional, informational, practical and wellness support.

Doula and postpartum practitioners do not replace physicians, midwives, nurses, lactation consultants, mental-health professionals or emergency services.

Massage, movement, botanical and nourishment services during pregnancy or the postpartum period may be modified based on the guest’s condition, practitioner training and available medical guidance.

You are responsible for consulting your maternity-care provider when appropriate.

14. Botanical Products and Experiences

Aura Bend botanical offerings may include teas, baths, foot soaks, aromatic preparations, smoke bundles, oils, herbs, kombucha, damiana, blue lotus or other plant-based materials.

Botanical experiences are offered for sensory, traditional, cultural, culinary or educational purposes and are not medical treatment.

Plants and botanical products may cause allergies, sensitivities, medication interactions or unexpected individual responses.

Before participating, you must disclose relevant allergies, pregnancy or nursing status, medications and known sensitivities.

You are responsible for consulting a qualified healthcare provider before consuming or using botanical products when you have a medical condition, take medication, are pregnant or nursing, or have concerns about possible interactions.

Participation in any botanical consumption experience is voluntary. You may decline any ingredient without affecting your ability to participate in the remainder of the experience where a reasonable alternative is available.

15. Plant-Based Food and Beverages

Aura Bend may provide plant-based meals, snacks, teas, kombucha, herbal sodas and other refreshments directly or through an approved food provider.

You must disclose food allergies, intolerances and dietary restrictions before the applicable booking deadline.

Although reasonable care may be taken, Aura Bend cannot guarantee that food or drinks will be completely free from allergens or cross-contact unless that guarantee is expressly confirmed in writing.

Fermented beverages such as kombucha may contain naturally occurring trace amounts of alcohol. Guests who avoid alcohol entirely should notify Aura Bend in advance and choose a nonfermented alternative.

Food offerings are subject to ingredient availability, food-safety requirements and applicable licensing rules.

16. Nature and Outdoor Experiences

Outdoor experiences may involve risks that cannot be completely eliminated, including:

  • Uneven or slippery terrain

  • Changing weather

  • Heat, cold, wind or smoke

  • Elevation and physical exertion

  • Rivers, lakes or other bodies of water

  • Wildlife, insects and plants

  • Falling branches or rocks

  • Remote areas with limited cellular service

  • Transportation delays

  • Limited restroom or accessibility facilities

By participating, you acknowledge the ordinary and inherent risks associated with the selected outdoor activity.

You agree to follow instructions, remain within designated areas, wear appropriate clothing and footwear, and disclose mobility or health concerns in advance.

Aura Bend does not guarantee wildlife sightings, particular weather, the availability of forageable plants or uninterrupted access to a location.

No guest should consume a wild plant, mushroom or other gathered material unless Aura Bend has expressly identified it as part of the guided experience and approved its use.

17. Weather, Wildfire and Environmental Conditions

Outdoor locations and schedules may change because of weather, wildfire, smoke, road closures, trail conditions, wildlife activity or other safety concerns.

Aura Bend may:

  • Change the location

  • Modify the itinerary

  • Substitute an indoor experience

  • Adjust the start time

  • Reschedule the service

  • Cancel an unsafe activity

When possible, we will offer a reasonable alternative of comparable value. Refund eligibility will be determined under the Refund and Cancellation Policy and the circumstances of the booking.

A guest who independently declines to participate despite Aura Bend determining that an experience can safely proceed may remain subject to the standard cancellation policy.

18. Fly Fishing and Third-Party Activities

Fly fishing, transportation, specialized outdoor recreation and certain other activities may be provided by independent licensed, permitted or insured guides and businesses.

Those providers may require separate:

  • Payments

  • Waivers

  • Intake forms

  • Cancellation terms

  • Safety rules

  • Eligibility requirements

When Aura Bend coordinates an outside provider, that provider remains responsible for the professional services it directly performs.

Aura Bend is not responsible for a third party’s acts, omissions, schedule changes or service quality except to the extent responsibility cannot legally be excluded.

19. In-Home, Hotel and Vacation-Rental Services

You are responsible for ensuring that the service location is lawful, accessible, safe and suitable for the booked experience.

The location must provide, as applicable:

  • Safe and reasonably clean working space

  • Adequate heat, ventilation and lighting

  • Running water and restroom access

  • Safe entry and exit

  • Nearby parking or disclosed access instructions

  • Permission from the property owner, hotel or host

  • An area reasonably free from interruptions

  • Secured pets when requested

  • Protection from smoke, aggressive behavior and illegal activity

Any stairs, gated access, parking limitations, animals or other conditions affecting entry must be disclosed before the appointment.

Hotel and vacation-rental guests are responsible for confirming that outside practitioners and services are permitted on the property.

Aura Bend may leave or decline to begin a service when the environment is unsafe, unsanitary, threatening, unlawfully occupied or materially different from what was disclosed. Payment may remain due.

20. Alcohol, Drugs and Impairment

Guests must not be materially impaired by alcohol, cannabis, illegal drugs or other intoxicating substances during an Aura Bend wellness service unless the substance is part of a separately regulated and legally compliant service.

Aura Bend may decline or end massage, movement, hypnotherapy, outdoor or other services when impairment creates a safety, consent or professional-boundary concern.

No refund will be required when a service is ended because of undisclosed or unsafe impairment.

21. Psilocybin-Related Services

Aura Bend does not sell or provide psilocybin products through its website, ordinary in-home services, hotel services, outdoor retreats or general wellness packages.

Any regulated psilocybin service must be conducted separately through properly licensed providers and a licensed Oregon service center, subject to Oregon law and required client forms.

Psilocybin-related preparation, administration and integration services may require separate booking terms, screening, consent forms, safety plans and service-center policies.

Website descriptions do not guarantee eligibility for psilocybin services.

22. Personal Property

Guests are responsible for their personal belongings.

Aura Bend is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged property except when damage is directly caused by Aura Bend’s failure to use reasonable care.

Please leave valuable or irreplaceable items in a secure location.

23. Photography and Testimonials

Aura Bend will not intentionally use an identifiable guest’s photograph, video, private story or testimonial for public marketing without permission.

Photography or recording consent may be requested separately. Declining marketing photography will not affect your eligibility for services.

Guests may not record a practitioner or another participant without that person’s prior consent.

24. Conduct and Right to Refuse Service

Aura Bend may refuse, stop or cancel services involving:

  • Harassment or discrimination

  • Threatening or abusive conduct

  • Sexual misconduct

  • Unsafe intoxication

  • Undisclosed health or safety risks

  • Illegal activity

  • Repeated nonpayment

  • Material violation of these terms

  • Conduct that compromises the safety or dignity of a practitioner, guest or third party

Aura Bend may also decline a service that falls outside a practitioner’s scope, qualifications, comfort or professional boundaries.

25. Website Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the website for unlawful or fraudulent purposes

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to website systems

  • Introduce malicious software

  • Scrape, reproduce or commercially exploit website content without permission

  • Submit false booking, payment or contact information

  • Interfere with another visitor’s use of the site

  • Impersonate another person

Aura Bend may restrict website access or cancel a booking associated with fraudulent or abusive activity.

26. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the text, photographs, service names, retreat concepts, graphics, logos, designs and other original content on aurabend.com belong to Aura Bend or are used with permission.

Website content may be viewed and shared for personal, noncommercial purposes.

You may not reproduce, modify, sell, publish or commercially use Aura Bend content without prior written permission.

27. Gift Cards and Promotional Offers

Gift cards, credits, packages and promotional offers:

  • Have no cash value except where required by law

  • May be subject to stated expiration or eligibility terms

  • Cannot be combined unless expressly permitted

  • May exclude travel, third-party fees or custom additions

  • Must be presented or identified when booking

Lost or transferred gift cards may be replaced only when ownership and remaining value can reasonably be verified.

28. Service Changes

Aura Bend may change practitioners, ingredients, locations, schedules or individual components when reasonably necessary because of availability, illness, safety, weather or circumstances outside our control.

When a significant element becomes unavailable, we will make reasonable efforts to provide a comparable substitute, credit, rescheduling option or other remedy consistent with the booking terms.

29. No Guaranteed Results

Wellness experiences are personal and individual.

Aura Bend does not guarantee that any service will produce a particular physical, emotional, spiritual, behavioral or lifestyle outcome.

Descriptions such as restorative, grounding, transformative, calming or rejuvenating describe the intention of an offering and are not promises of a specific result.

30. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website and services are provided on an “as available” basis.

Aura Bend does not warrant that:

  • The website will always be uninterrupted or error-free

  • Every service will be appropriate for every person

  • A specific practitioner, location or ingredient will always be available

  • Nature or wildlife conditions will meet expectations

  • A particular wellness outcome will occur

Nothing in these terms limits any warranty or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

31. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Aura Bend will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from use of the website or participation in a service.

Aura Bend’s total liability for a claim relating to a specific purchased service will not exceed the amount paid to Aura Bend for that service, except where a greater remedy is required by law.

These limitations do not exclude liability that cannot legally be limited, including liability arising from gross negligence, reckless misconduct or intentional wrongdoing where applicable.

32. Assumption of Risk

You understand that massage, movement, outdoor recreation, food, botanical experiences and other wellness activities may involve known and unknown risks.

By voluntarily participating, you accept the ordinary and inherent risks associated with the activity, except to the extent a risk is caused by conduct for which liability cannot lawfully be waived.

Service-specific waivers may be required in addition to these Terms and Conditions.

33. Events Beyond Our Control

Aura Bend is not responsible for delay, modification or inability to perform caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including:

  • Severe weather

  • Wildfire or smoke

  • Road or facility closures

  • Natural disasters

  • Government orders

  • Public-health emergencies

  • Power or internet failures

  • Practitioner illness or emergency

  • Transportation disruption

  • Failure by an independent provider

  • Other unexpected safety conditions

We will make reasonable efforts to communicate and offer an appropriate alternative under the circumstances.

34. Privacy

Personal information is handled in accordance with the Aura Bend Privacy Policy.

Service-specific records and disclosures may also be governed by professional, licensing, insurance or legal requirements.

35. Disputes and Governing Law

Before filing a formal claim, you agree to contact Aura Bend and make a reasonable good-faith effort to resolve the concern directly.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Unless applicable law requires otherwise, legal proceedings relating to these terms or Aura Bend services must be brought in a court with appropriate jurisdiction in Deschutes County, Oregon.

36. Severability

If any part of these terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining terms will remain in effect.

The invalid provision will be interpreted or modified only to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable where legally permitted.

37. No Waiver

Aura Bend’s decision not to enforce a provision on one occasion does not waive the right to enforce it later.

38. Changes to These Terms

Aura Bend may update these Terms and Conditions as the website, services, business practices or legal requirements change.

The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.

Changes will apply prospectively unless otherwise required by law. Terms accepted for an existing confirmed booking will continue to govern that booking unless both parties agree otherwise or a legal requirement requires a change.
