High Desert Bird + Wildlife Experience
Slow down, refine your awareness, and connect with the landscape.
Service Description
Spend a morning exploring the quieter side of Central Oregon through its birds, wildlife, plants, and changing landscapes. Depending on the season, we may explore river corridors, ponderosa forest, wetlands, or open high-desert habitat, choosing locations based on what is most active and interesting that day. Along the way, we’ll look and listen for songbirds, raptors, waterfowl, wildlife, animal signs, native plants, and the small details that often go unnoticed. The experience includes approximately four hours of privately guided birding and wildlife exploration, transportation to and from your Bend lodging, thoughtfully selected locations, bird and wildlife identification, local ecology and seasonal interpretation, botanical refreshments, and a field checklist to take home. No birding experience is necessary. This outing is designed to be relaxed, curious, and unhurried. Optional Private Vegan Picnic · +$75 per person Half day · $395 for 1–2 guests Additional guests · $45 each Transportation from Bend lodging included
